Performance Data

Every years since we started operations, FSWC – Lee has earned a letter grade of “A.”  Each year there are legislative changes to the school grading system and various cut off scores established for the corresponding letter grades.  Without exception, FSWC – Lee has scored well into the “A” range and when considering the latest accountability sytem, FSWC – Lee is one of the top 7 performing schools in the state.  All of this was possible because students worked very hard under the direction of extremely dedicated teachers. 

While this history of phenomenal score reports is impressive and truly remarkable, the way they were earned is the real story.  FSWC – Lee operates with an open enrollment policy, focuses on delivering interdisciplinary lessons of academic content with a STEM focus, does no deliberate “Test prep” activities, uses open source and free curriculum in lieu of many text books, and believes that enhancing critical thinking and communication skills are the best way to create independent learners.  Hands on projects and collaborative work by students and staff have shown clearly that the Buccaneers know how to:
