Dr. Julie Draulans - Electives

Dr. Draulans is a proud graduate of the University of Florida, where she earned her Doctorate in Pharmacy. Her professional journey began in the retail pharmacy sector before transitioning to hospital pharmacy practice. Following the arrival of her two children, she took some time off to focus on family life, during that time she discovered her interest to help others through education. She started her teaching career at a local middle school, where she taught math and science. She enjoys going to the beach, taking family vacations, and boating. Being a dedicated Gator grad, she enjoys having season tickets to all Gator games in the Swamp and attends every home game with members of her family.

Presently, Dr. Draulans enjoys her position at Florida Southwestern Collegiate High School teaching Personal, Career, and School development, along with math and science. This course emphasizes problem-solving techniques, leadership development, strategic career planning, effective time management, and organizational proficiency. Through collaborative engagement with faculty, students also receive additional practice in courses, such as math and science. The course targets skills necessary for students to be successful in the dual-enrollment experience.
