Adam Baldwin – Language Arts

Adam Baldwin is a passionate educator with over twelve years of classroom experience. Holding a Master’s degree in Writing and a Bachelor’s degree in History and Social Studies, Adam brings a unique blend of expertise in both language and the social sciences.

For the past six years, he has guided freshmen through the world of English, helping them build strong foundations in reading, writing, and critical thinking. His teaching journey also includes a variety of social science courses—AICE Sociology, World History, U.S. Government, Economics, and AP Research—giving him a broad perspective on how students learn and connect ideas across disciplines.

Beyond the high school classroom, Adam serves as an adjunct professor at Florida SouthWestern State College, where he teaches Composition I and II. This experience shapes his approach to 9th grade English, where he emphasizes research and essay writing as essential skills for academic success. His ultimate goal? To prepare every student for dual-enrollment opportunities by the time they finish his class in June, setting them on a path toward college readiness and lifelong learning.
