Christopher Tucker - Social Studies
Mr. Christopher Tucker joined the staff at FSWC in 2017 after several years of working for Brandeis University, Eastern Nazarene College, and the Boston Red Sox. In addition to teaching history at FSWC, he also is the advisor of the Drama Club and National Honors Society, and has been an adjunct college instructor at FSW since 2019. A native of the great state of New Hampshire, Mr. Tucker received Master's degrees from Dartmouth College (2009) and Clark University (2017). He enjoys English Premier League soccer, a good book, the Boston Celtics, traveling, and visiting theme parks with his wife and son.
History started to make sense to Mr. Tucker when, as a student himself, he began to see history as a collection of unique stories. His World History Honors course at FSWC is a highly collaborative course in which students are encouraged to see the stories for themselves, using their personal strengths as writers, thinkers, and even artists to interpret the women and men of the past. Course content includes everything from ancient civilizations to the dawn of the 21st century, with an emphasis placed on cultural, social, and political history.
