Laura Barrow - School Counselor
After a 25-year career practicing law, Laura Barrow began a new journey in the field of education and has not looked back! Having found her true calling, Mrs. Barrow has served as both a college instructor and a school counselor in Lee County since 2010, bringing to the table a diverse educational and professional experience. As a school counselor, Mrs. Barrow uses a solution-focused and purpose-driven approach to help students navigate both academic and social-emotional challenges. In collaboration with FSWC’s school counseling team and staff, Mrs. Barrow’s mission is to help students find meaning and confidence in all facets of their lives as they grow into resilient and capable adults. She is passionate about her students and finds great satisfaction watching them grow from young, wide-eyed freshmen to mature and confident senior graduates.
Mrs. Barrow received her B.S. and M.S. degrees in pharmacy from the University of Texas at Austin, her J.D. from the University of Houston, and her M.A. in School Counseling from Florida Gulf Coast University. She is honored to be a member of the FSWC school counseling team!
